Early detection of eye conditions can prevent further damage and significantly reduce the risk of blindness. Regular eye exams are essential for identifying issues before they progress, allowing for timely treatment that can preserve vision and maintain overall eye health.

A 26 years old patient with no known medical history presented with a chief complaint of blurring of vision, which started two days after experiencing a fever. The visual acuity in the right eye was 20/150 at distance and N24 at near, with no improvement from corrective lenses, while the left eye maintained 20/20 vision at both distance and near. An Amsler grid test revealed that the right eye had a blurry vision in the right and left upper quadrants and a missing lower quadrant while the left eye was normal. The patient was referred to an ophthalmologist, who diagnosed Central Serous Retinopathy (CSR) and optic neuritis with macular edema. Further management and follow-ip with the ophthalmologist were recommended.
